YOU'VE BEEN EGGED

My children absolutely love Easter egg hunts. Every year around this time, we sign up for a handful of egg hunt events. Sadly, due to the coronavirus pandemic all public Easter events and celebrations have been cancelled. My girls are naturally devastated and I'm sure they are not the only ones. So why not start a new tradition and bring the egg hunt to them?

You've Been Egged Easter tradition from Paprika Paperie

Here's how it works:

1. Visit my Etsy shop and purchase and print the You've Been Egged card and We’ve Been Egged yard sign

2. Gather 12 eggs + treats + favors and fill each egg with a special surprise. I suggest only using pre-packaged treats as a safety precaution.

A few ideas: temporary tattoos, stickers, fruit snacks, pre-wrapped candies, trinkets, money - get creative! Get the kids involved and have them help stuff the eggs.

3. Download and print the We've Been Egged sign. You can cut out and attach a paint stick on the back for it to be placed into the front yard (as pictured below), or punch a hole and tie a ribbon on it to be hung on their front door.

4. Hide the 12 eggs in the front yard of a neighbor, family member or friend. Be careful not to be seen! Leave the You've been Egged card and sign at the front door.

5. Pass it along to as many neighbors and friends as you would like and enjoy spreading some much needed Easter cheer!
